The Launch of Losing Control
Last October, I started writing the Charlotte Chronicles, a weekly webseries featuring the son of one of my couples and the daughter of another. It’s been a fan favorite.
Starting May 27 2014, Losing Control will be released in serial format via a newsletter.
In January, I started writing Losing Control, a story featuring a bike courier and a wealthy man who ensnares her. I wrote this book by emailing each chapter to a couple of friends. It occurred to me when I was half way through that it would be fun to share the story in the same fashion with the rest of the readers. Each day you’ll get one or two chapters until June 16, 2014, when the book goes on sale.
If you haven’t signed up for the newsletter, there is still time. Here is the link!
My hope is that when you’re done with the free read and it goes on sale that you’ll like it enough to share your recommendation with a friend or a family member.
I love Tiny Corielli and Ian Kerr. They came alive to me in a way I hadn’t experienced as a writer. They felt real. Tiny’s struggle with her mother’s illness is one that many of us have suffered in some form. Ian’s desire to help shoulder Tiny’s burden is met with suspicion and a tiny kernel of hope. Overtime, they can’t resist each other but why they fall in love made sense to me. Ian’s never let anyone close to him but he knows what it’s like to lose a mother. Moreover, Tiny’s loyalty and love for her own parent resonate in the deep recesses of Ian’s soul.
Ian is one of those special heroes that I’ll remember for a long time. He’s bigger than life, hotter than the noon day sun at the equator and fiercer than a lion protecting a pride. I can’t wait for you to meet him.
Enjoy the journey!

Did I miss part 1 of this newsletter? Part 2 arrived today…but no part 1. 🙁
In your Part 2 email, look on the upper left hand side. There’s a link to an archive. This will take you to a new page. You should be able to see a list of newsletters, including the welcome one and part 1.
Awesome! Thank you so much for the quick reply – I’m excited to read about Tiny & Ian. Thank you, too, for making this available via your newsletter prior to the publication date.
